We’ve now ventured twice into the heart-pounding realm of virtual reality, and both times, it’s been a highlight of the day. Imagine strapping on a cutting-edge VR headset, and feeling its weight settling over your eyes like a portal to another dimension.

We took the family to the Museum of Illusions on one of our trips to Icon Park. You can watch our time there in the video below

Dezerland Park Orlando

Dezerland is located at the top of International Drive. It is an enclosed amusement park and shopping mall which is ideal for any rainy day as all attractions are undercover. If you are a long-time visitor to the area you may remember the location being Belz shopping outlet, it was rebranded and opened as Dezerland park in 2021.

It has 800,000 square feet of indoor attractions, including a James Bond museum, Automobile Museum, Karting, Ten pin bowling, Axe throwing, a trampoline park, and many eating places

Dezerland is free to enter and walk around, you pay for the entertainment you want to participate in

This is a night we wanted to experience after seeing it on the Jane Mcdonald show. My folks and Batty B said yes straight away as they had also seen the show.

We have done a few other activities very close to International Drive. There is lots to do in the area so get your notepad out and start writing a to-do list as you may need a few days put aside to experience all of these attractions mentioned in this blog post

Top Golf ⛳

Top golf is something we had wanted to try for a while. Many friends had told us it was worth a visit even if you don’t love a full golf session on a 19 whole course. Someone mentioned they serve drinks so of course we tried it out 😅

We took our fellow golf (cocktail) enthusiasts The Bazzas and our friends from Mousepiration and headed just to the back of International Drive.

Don’t worry if you know nothing about Golf, any golfing knowledge or techniques are not required. If you are fit enough to swing a golf club, you can have fun at top golf.

You get seated at your bay around a table to which you can order food and drink and then start to whack some golf balls. There are various games to choose from, a particular favourite of ours was the Angry Birds one.

These make for a really fun game to play with friends. We really enjoyed our time here and would certainly go again
