About Us

Welcome to our website. We’re Leigh and Nick.

Back in 2017, a health scare gave us a massive wake-up call and completely shifted our perspective on things.

We realised we needed to step back from the daily grind of our business and focus on the positives, actually living life and enjoying our time together outside of work.

We kept our business running for a few more years, but with the industry we were in changing and competition getting fierce, we ultimately made the decision to close those doors in 2022.

But as one door closes, a much better one opens! To kick off our new chapter, we bought our beautiful lodge on the East Coast of Yorkshire, picked up a camera, and started vlogging our everyday adventures.

You can check out our very first vlog down below. Just a little heads-up: the whole thing was filmed on a mobile phone, and our old intro is definitely showing its age! Stick with it, though, we promise the camera work and quality get so much better as we go along.

Our Florida obsession started way back in 1999! Leigh’s parents stumbled upon an unbelievable deal: a two-week trip, flights and accommodation included, for just £498. (Imagine getting that kind of bargain today!) We jumped at the chance, took the trip in 2000, and instantly fell in love with the magic of Orlando.

If you want to see us head back to Florida with our family in January 2019, check out the video below. It was an incredible trip that completely reignited our passion for travel!

In 2020 our travel plans were put on hold due to the global pandemic and we filmed every day of our lockdown lives after we had to leave our lodge

As the world eventually got back to normal, we were more ready than ever to get out and explore. To kickstart this brand new chapter, we decided to build our very own campervan!

That project gave us the ultimate travel bug, eventually leading us to buy our beloved motorhome, Elvis. Having a motorhome has opened up a whole new world of adventures for us.

Whether we’re jetting off to theme parks across the pond, taking Elvis on epic road trips around the UK and Europe, or simply sharing our day-to-day routine back at the lodge, we absolutely love bringing our amazing community—the Lodgers—along for the ride.

Through our vlogs, we want to share our journey, spark a little wanderlust, and inspire you to get out there and make your own unforgettable memories.
