Cheap Florida Themepark tickets. Is it a scam? Here is the answer
If you go to Florida you may have noticed a number of places advertising cheap theme park tickets at crazy low prices ($39 dollars etc)
They always seem too good to be true. We ventured into old town Kissimmee one day and as we passed one of these shops we thought we would go in and get some information. Β The man in there told us we would have to go and sit through a 90-minute presentation at a resort which included a complimentary breakfast. At the end of the tour, we would be able to purchase cheap park tickets. That week’s special was Seaworld and Aquatica both for $25. They offered cheap Universal tickets also, amongst others (Apparently, since Covid, the only company selling Disney tickets is Disney themselves, so you are out of luck if you want tickets for their four parks)
We considered doing the tour as our parents were due to spend some time with us in Florida without park tickets. In the end, my Dad wasn’t well for a while so we didn’t get the time.
However, we talked our lovely friends Jade and Alex into trying it as they wanted to go to Universal. They took one for the team (Well done guys)
Jade, Alex, and their son Max did a tour. They told us it bit of a hard sell at the end of the tour and when they said they weren’t interested the sales people tried to sell even harder. They stuck with saying no to buying anything and came away with three lots of cheap universal tickets
Jade says “We got 2-day park to park with early access to Universal and Island of Adventure and volcano bay for about Β£140 each. We had to put a deposit of around $40 down and we also had breakfast included”
So it did work for them. As long as you don’t mind sitting through the tour and making sure you are comfortable saying no at the end of it (don’t come away with a timeshare !) then it’s a way to get some cheap theme park tickets. Just fully look into it in the store you go into and get all the information before hand so you are comfortable with what you are going to be doing.
Drop a comment on this post if you have done any of these tours and if you managed to get some cheap theme park tickets
