Do we have a trip planned this year? February March 2023 update
It’s a lovely sunny day at the lodge and the perfect opportunity to sit down and update you on what we have been up to over the last few weeks and what’s happening with the channel.
As you are all aware, it has been a sorrowful time for us of late. We are trying to get back to some kind of normality and most of the time, it has become easier. Every now and again though, Nick thinks he should call his mum, something reminds him, and we both feel very flat again. We imagine this is how it will be for a while until we get used to our new normal.
Getting back to the lodge has been a big help and a change of scenery without as many reminders of the last few months. Nick as you can imagine has had a lot on his plate to sort out but thankfully a lot of the things he has been able to do remotely here at the lodge

We have quite a few lodge vlogs and family vlogs coming your way in March. It’s helped to be around everyone we love even though sometimes, Nick just wants to be alone. We are taking each day as it comes but are also planning for the future.
Are we going on a trip this year?
Yes, we will be going on a trip this year. We are currently planning things and have lots in mind. We love taking you all with us and experiencing new places and some familiar ones. We renewed our Disney annual passes at the start of this year so Disney and Florida will be part of our lives again this year at some point. If you have any suggestions of new things we should do when we do get back there we would love to hear them in the comments below.
We always like to vary our content (and our experiences) so will be thinking of some new places to vlog outside of Florida. We want to see more of Europe and the UK this year and visit friends along the way. As all our viewers are an important part of our community, we love to hear what kind of vlogs you like to see best. Do you prefer seeing us at the lodge, on our travels around the UK, or over in Florida? What other places would you like to see? Let us know in the comments below.

Our vlog schedule
As you will be aware, we went down from four to three videos to help us spend more time with Gail. For now, we will be staying with that schedule as it helps us have time to work on new things. Plan videos etc. We may go back up at some point but for now, we will be staying at three a week. We want to work more on this blog and put shorter more focused videos up on our extras youtube channel when we have time, so make sure you follow us there too.

I think you guys would love New England. So many fun towns to explore and beautiful scenery. Also, next time you are in Florida for a but you could do a couple of days up in Savannah Georgia. It’s not a bad drive from Orlando. And that is a super cool town with lots of history, amazing food, and spooky stories!
First of all, sincerest condolences on the loss of your mum Nick. There is no heartbreak like losing a parent.
We adore the Florida vlogs and really enjoyed your trip driving across the USA. We do think that since you are already so close when in Florida, that you should come visit our lovely state of Georgia.
Specifically Savannah and surrounds. The Golden Isles are each uniquely different and the history surrounding Savannah should give you lots of new experiences to enjoy. The worlds ‘first social experiment’ happened here when Oglethorpe and other financiers in England, decided to settle the coastal plains of Georgia. Just some thoughts. Wherever you go and whatever you do, we will still look forward to your blogs. Hugs to you both!!

What about another road trip down the East Coast, start in Washington then drive down through Virginia, West Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia and into Florida. We have done this lots to do and see and each state is different.
Take us to Scotland! Of course love France! Thank you guys for your great vlogs and sharing your everyday life! Always amazed how well you balance each other!

I think you need to find a bit land and build your forever home . Keep yous busy for months …love to see you both back in your happy place in Florida.Didn’t you talk about route 66 trip .take care guys xx

Hope you do get away at some point. Could you do a video of air fryer recipes? I like a lot of people got one for Christmas, and I feel I’m not using as much as I could.
I’d love to see you vlog around european holiday destinations. Greece and Turkiye are beautiful and, although a different type of holiday than America, I still think there’s opportunities to vlog the culture and food options in those tourist destinations…
When back in Florida if it’s winter go and swim with the manatees at Crystal River. Still our best experience.
I really enjoy all the content you put out in your vlogs. The Lodge vlogs are my favorite, because they are relaxing to watch. When Nick cooks and Leigh irons are just fine for me. My second choice would be traveling around Europe. I was wondering if you have traveled to Scotland, and why do you not do more of the UK? Is it because it’s seems too familiar to the both of you? Not to jump around, but I live on the east coast of the US, there was a comment that you two should do an east coast down to Florida. I think you would love the autumn time, and see places like Gettysburg Pennsylvania. It’s a town lost in time. Nick would really enjoy the history. Hit some of the islands off of Georgia, or even Savannah.
When your next in Florida I would love to see you go to Bush Gardens and ride Iron Grazi ππ

Honestly I love your lodge vlogs. I do like to watch your trips but my favourite vlogs are always the ones when you are at the lodge just doing your normal day to day. Hope you both are doing ok. Sending love. Xx
Love seeing you in Florida because it’s not just about Disney. You do Florida the same way that we do, explore a bit, have lovely breakfasts in different places and pack as much in as possible.
Different things to do: Kennedy Space Centre, Kayaking with the Manatee in Titusville (honestly the best day we have ever had) or H2O Glow at Typhoon Lagoon
Really enjoy your vlogs, from DIYs , cooking , to traveling .. just enjoy your humor and honesty. If you ever want to do another road trip , maybe drive all along the East Coast starting in Maine all the way to Key West ..one thing for sure wherever you go will be an adventure.. ty !!
